Clam chowder and even bruschetta is a great starter to lobster rolls. I like munching on truffle fries as a side or even chips, but if you’d like something healthier you could always add veggies like broccoli.
Variations
Looking to make this recipe even better check out these tips to better suit you and your guests:
- Lobster claws: I actually prefer the texture of lobster claws instead of the meat.
- Go Greek: Skip the mayo and replace with Greek yogurt.
- Low-Carb: Serve the lobster in lettuce cups instead of a bun.

The lobster meat should be consumed within 2 days and placed in the refrigerator. The buns can be left out of the refrigerator for 1 day, ensure it is not in direct sunlight or other heat sources.
